Elen Attard

Elen is a Sydney based actor who is passionate about sharing stories and creating a more inclusive industry for under-represented artists. Elen completed her Bachelor of Creative Arts (acting) at JMC Academy in 2025.

Throughout their life, Elen has pursued the creative arts in every capacity including getting a degree in acting, learning different instruments, and taking up aerial arts in both Dance Trapeze and Hammock.

Elen has loved performing on both stage and screen, finding her passion for sharing stories about real people. In 2025, Elen played a Fate in the Australian debut of This Restless House at the Civic Playhouse, which received a 5 star review by What’s The Show.

Elen has expanded their involvement in the industry beyond acting. They were the casting director for a Dementia Support Australia ad campaign, and worked as the production manager for the debut show Seed Hunters in Sydney.

While at JMC Academy, Elen performed in multiple productions including Emma in People, Places, and Things, Richard and Queen Margaret in Henry VI Part III, and Bertha in the Downstairs Belvoir production of Jane Eyre. Elen has also had the privilege of performing a self-written piece at her graduation show at The Sydney Opera House in 2024.

Elen has a passion for stories about people that are honest, ugly, and important. While at JMC, Elen directed a movement piece called ‘INUNDATED’ which highlighted the overwhelming pressure of having an online presence and staying informed on current trends and world issues.
